MBM were engaged to provide full quantity surveying services for Phase 0-3, and Phase 5-9, including cost planning of different design options, pre tender estimate, ECI management, monthly cost reporting and cashflow forecast, and post contract services such as progress claims and variation assessment.

The Objective of this project was;

• Redevelopment of the constraint site with existing heritage buildings to a core of 14 schools with future provision core of 21 schools.

The Scope of this project was to refurbish existing heritage buildings to create;

• A New Library
• New Teaching Spaces
• Support Unit spaces
• New Admin Facility
• New Communal Hall
• New Canteen
• Future Focused Teaching Spaces

This was SINSW’s first project adopting Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) procurement model, which encouraged buildability, innovation and safety through robust contractor-led design management. Project benefited from early consultation and agreement with stakeholders and allowed appropriate allocation of risk between Principal and Contractor.
